Starting today, all Conekta merchants can accept Apple Pay for their online payments. The payment method joins cards, SPEI bank transfers, cash, and pay-over-time options, and works from minute one in Checkout, Payment Links, and the Direct API.
Pay in two taps
With Apple Pay, the buyer confirms the payment with Face ID or Touch ID without entering their card details. Less friction translates directly into more completed sales:
- No forms: the data travels encrypted from the customer's device.
- No extra setup: if you already accept payments with Conekta, Apple Pay appears automatically in your Checkout.
- Same reconciliation: payments are settled and reported just like any other card charge.
Every field you remove from a payment form is sales you stop losing. Apple Pay is the shortest possible version of a payment.
Available starting today
The rollout is gradual over this week and requires no action on your part. If you use the Direct API, the technical documentation explains how to display the Apple Pay button in your own interface.
